I’m anxiously anticipating spring. We’ve been teased by the weather but started a bit of weeding and organized the greenhouse for my seeds. Planting them over the weekend then let’s see the new sprouts!

Spring is on my mind….
Looking forward to a new season of hosting and new menus. One thing that’s staying is my lobster chowder with homemade cheese biscuits…and Nova Scotia Tidal Bay - a crisp white that compliments the rich soup.

I am going to be making a Lobster Bisque as well for our East Wind Table - stay tuned for my new items!

There’s something magical about the way the day begins in the Lobster Capital of Canada.

From Island View Park, the first light rises over North East Point Beach and Cape Sable Island — painting the sky in gold and coral. The stillness of the tide, the glimmer of the causeway stretching into the horizon, and the quiet hum of a community waking by the sea all remind us why mornings here feel different.

It’s not just a sunrise, it’s the start of another beautiful day in Visit Barrington.
