Nakiska Ranch offers country living in an incredible natural setting of towering forests and flowering meadows. The Lodge is nestled in a grove of fir and pine trees while the spectacular Trophy Mountains crown the horizon. Cattle and horses graze peacefully nearby, as our Lodge borders onto beautiful Wells Gray Provincial Park. Many species often roam our magnificent surroundings.

Our Story

Nakiska Ranch offers country living in an incredible natural setting of towering forests and flowering meadows. The Lodge is nestled in a grove of fir and pine trees with the spectacular Trophy Mountains crowning the horizon. Our ranch borders onto beautiful Wells Gray Provincial Park with its spectacular waterfalls, mountains and rivers. Many species of wildlife can be seen at our ranch in the Park. Besides the many bears, we have moose, beavers, several kinds of deer and lots of interesting birds.

We are a working ranch: we raise Red Angus beef cattle, so if you visit us during the summer month, you will see a lot of ranching activity going on.

We have 7 guest cabins converted from the original settler cedar cabins. The main lodge also has 4 guest rooms. For families or groups of friends travelling together, the Wilderness House would be a perfect place to enjoy wildlife viewing.
