We are 'Hidden JEM' - a family business. We love to share our knowledge of Port Hardy and the North Island with our guests. We can give you recommendations for things to do, where to visit, and our favourite places to eat. Let us know how we can help! We enjoy hosting and meeting people from across Vancouver Island, Canada, and around the world. As a family we enjoy getting outdoors, local events, and Jeff goes out prawning and crabbing in the summer time. Putting my feet up after setting up another apartment… it’s so comfortable and although it’s not quite finished, it’s shaping up to be my favourite. All our suites have 2 bedrooms (one King and one Queen), large comfortable living room furniture, fully equipped eat-in Kitchens, and everything you need to rest after a day exploring the North Island.
We also have outdoor space with a large picnic table and a fire pit.

For anyone staying in the area - this will also be the first time I will have heard these sirens!

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:
Siren alert for Coal Harbour and Quatsino First Nation.

Coal Harbour's RCAF museum at the old hangar will be demonstrating its vintage WW2 air raid siren, this coming Wednesday, May 27 at 7:30 PM. This air raid siren is just a test. For demonstration purposes only. There is no alert or hazard to public. Please spread the word to your neighbours.

Within the past week, I have seen 2 bears, one elk, some deer, countless eagles, and for the first time ever - a beautiful cougar! What wildlife will you spot when you visit us on the North Island?!
