Happy Labor Day from Strait Way!

Labor Day weekend is here, and it’s a good time to recognize the people who spend most of their week working hard and getting things done.

Around Southern Alberta, there’s no shortage of hard work. Farmers are up early and working late, contractors are trying to keep projects on schedule, operators are running equipment all day, mechanics are keeping machines going, and tradespeople are out there building, fixing and installing. There are also plenty of people behind the scenes keeping businesses, farms and job sites running that don’t always get recognized.

We see a lot of that work through our customers at Strait Way. Whether someone is picking up a lift for a project, renting a machine for a few days, bringing equipment in for service, or stopping by for parts, there is usually a job waiting to be finished. We know that equipment is only one part of getting the job done. It takes people who know what they’re doing and are willing to put in the time.

Labor Day is a chance to appreciate that. Not in a fancy way, just a simple thank you to the people who show up, put in the hours, get dirty, solve problems and keep going until the job is done.

Hopefully everyone gets a chance to slow down for the long weekend, enjoy some time with family and friends, and take a break from the usual early mornings and long days.

From all of us at Strait Way, thanks to the farmers, contractors, operators, mechanics, tradespeople, business owners and crews we get to work with. We appreciate the work you do and the role you play in keeping Southern Alberta moving.

Valentine’s is all about forever—kind of like how you’ve been forever needing that adapter but just keep making do without it. Love may be complicated, but ordering the right attachment doesn’t have to be.
