Bottrel General Store & Campground Bottrel is 65 km NW of Calgary. The CAMPGROUND is by reservation. Summer Rates are now in effect - $35 a night. No power / water. Family orientated.

Quiet time is 10pm - 10am. Check in 3pm check out 12 noon. Reservations & or questions. 403 932-5423

Rocky View County finally got the HINT!

THE PEOPLE SPOKE - AND THEY WERE HEARD!

After the Bottrel community and the community at large spoke out about the importance of keeping Bottrel Park welcoming and usable, we’re very happy to share some great news:

🔥The fire-pits have been restored!
🚻The toilets are back!
🪑The benches have been repaired!
🌳 The park has been cleaned up — and it looks FABULOUS!

A big THANK YOU to everyone who spoke up and made it clear that this little country park matters. And thank you to Rocky View County for listening and putting the work into the park.
Please note: Camping on the Rocky View County property has NOT been restored.

So pack a picnic, bring the family, roast some weenies over the fire and enjoy a beautiful fall afternoon in the country.

And while you’re here, drop by the Bottrel General Store — Alberta’s oldest continuously operating general store — grab a coffee, a treat or some picnic supplies and say hello!

PS - Bottrel General Store & Campground has 4 campsites available on our property for those wanting to stay and enjoy a little more time in Bottrel.
