What an inspiring week at the Canadian Collaborative Rocky Mountain Conference in Banff.

Beryl McNeill was honoured to serve on the Steering Committee for this year’s event, bringing together leaders dedicated to improving how families experience the justice system.

This photo captures a moment with four respected contributors to family justice reform:

• Justice Rod Jerke, the Court’s Co-Convenor with the Law Society of Alberta Reforming Family Justice Initiative
• Nancy Cameron, Past President of IACP and recipient of Collaborative Professionals Canada’s Lifetime Achievement Award
• Beryl McNeill
• Diana Lowe, Senior Director of the Centre for Transformation at the University of Calgary

From innovative community-based parenting dispute pilot projects to reimagining how families can resolve conflict in more respectful and effective ways, the conference highlighted important work taking place across Canada.

Overall, for the entire conference, they have had fantastic feedback related to all the trainings sessions offered. A special thank you to Linda Long KC and Holly Brady, Beryl’s conference steering committee cohorts, for all the work they put into making this conference a success on so many levels.
