Introducing a new children’s ski safety program. Every winter at resorts across the country, children and their families venture into the wonderful world of downhill sports. Whether it’s their first-time or their fiftieth, safety is a top priority. Developed with the expertise of the Canadian Ski Patrol System, this program helps promote a positive ski experience for children ages 3-8 and their fa
milies. This comprehensive program aims to educate children, parents and fellow skiers/snowboarders in a fun and engaging way. At participating resorts, parents with young children will receive a PACE Penguin kit containing a brightly colored PACE children’s bib, child version of the Alpine Responsibility Code, parent’s tips & tricks and lost child ID card. There will also be signage throughout the resort asking fellow skiers/snowboarders to slow down and “Give PACE Extra Space”.
