My guests from Germany stayed at The Perch while they searched for their new home in Comox. Look at these beautiful pottery plant markers Lori made for me at pottery classes. They'll be a great addition to my herb garden. I am truly blessed to have such wonderful guests.

Great location! The perfect home away from home.
The Perch on Birch was the perfect vacation getaway for my husband and I. Lovely decor, beautiful gardens and quiet neighbourhood. Close to the ocean and walking distance to town where we discovered The church st. Bakery for delicious coffee and scones then a walk around the marina. Great restaurants and friendly community. The owner Karen is so warm and friendly without being intrusive. She gave us great tips and we appreciated the fresh blueberries and raspberries from her garden. Fresh bouquet of flowers when we arrived and she gave us another bouquet during a second week. So many nice touches.... Very thoughtful! We had everything we needed for our perfect vacation. Hope to be back again!

Mary & Reg, Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. I really appreciate your lovely compliments and I am glad you could enjoy the fresh berries right from the garden. It was great to see you two enjoying the restaurants, marina and our wonderful little Church St Bakery! Thank you also for sharing your precious fresh caught salmon after a day on the fishing charter. It was a pleasure having you as my guests. Please come back again!

My senior guests who recently stayed at The Perch on Birch were here for what they called their "Fourth final vacation." Every year they say, 'this is our last trip', but they are fortunate to be healthy enough to have squeezed in three more since. Isabel painted this photo of my clematis growing over my sign at the guest entrance. What a lovely and memorable gift. I can't wait to frame it.

These fresh picked raspberries and hydrangeas just gathered for my next guests flying in from the mainland. Ladies getaway begins tomorrow morning!!

Just a couple of the wonderful things about owning vacation rentals is meeting interesting people from all over the world, and sharing the fruits of my labour with my guests. These lovely peonies from my garden are for my next guests arriving all the way from Holland.
