It is with great sadness that we share the news of Mike Poirier's passing on Sunday.

Mike began his career at our facility in 1978 as an electrician and later served for many years as Director of Facility Maintenance. Through his dedication, hard work, and leadership, Mike helped shape this property into what it is today. His impact can be seen throughout the facility, and his legacy will forever remain a part of our history.

More than a colleague, Mike was a friend and mentor to many, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of working alongside him.

On behalf of everyone at the DEV Hotel & Conference Centre, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Mike’s daughters, his numerous grandchildren, and all of his family and friends during this difficult time.

Thank you, Mike, for your decades of service and for leaving such a lasting mark on our community.

Rest in peace. ❤️

𝗕𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿:
• DEV Hotel guests
• DEVfit members
• Individuals purchasing a $10 DEVfit day pass/drop-in

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀:
• Adult bikes only (18+)
• Helmets are provided and required
• 16 regular pedal bikes available
• Rentals are first-come, first-served

𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀:
• Monday to Friday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

𝙋𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙚:
• Bike rentals can only be processed during DEVfit operational hours while front desk staff are available
• All bikes must be returned before 8:30 PM for inspection and proper storage before closing
