Originally from Italy, Arturo came to Canada in search of wilderness and clean air. After more than 50 years of paddling around the world, he decided to solve a problem he knew all too well: cold, aching hands on the water. Making profit was never his goal, but Arturo spent two years testing different materials and finally founded Pogies’R’Us ins 2019. They make unique lightweight, insulated pogies by hand in Pemberton, B.C.

MOMAR (mind over mountain adventure race) marks the end of our season with a splash. We support 45 MOMAR teams with kayaks and paddles at Comox Lake on September 19th.
