She was another lucky winner of our 20th Anniversary “Stronger with Partners” Giveaway with 97.3 Eagle Radio winning a box of Hornby Bars and a fantastic gift pack from Cumberland Community Forest Society (including a book, T-shirts and free passes to the 7th Annual Fungus Fest 🍄running this weekend in Cumberland.

A huge shout out 📣to our partner Cumberland Community Forest Society. They’re on mission to expand the Cumberland Forest by purchasing land from timber companies to protect it today and for the future. They do so many cool things, like Bat Night, the Perseverance Trail Run, and so much more that our community absolutely loves! Please support them with donations and get involved!

Get your skis and boards ready Lisa! 🍻 She was another lucky winner of our 20th Anniversary “Stronger with Partners” Giveaway with 97.3 Eagle Radio. She won two lift tickets for the 2027 Mount Washington ski season!

We love hosting our winter guests who are avid skiers and boarders, always full of excitement to hit the slopes and return for a warm outdoor hot tub soak! With a summit elevation reaching a mile above the nearby Pacific Ocean, Mt. Washington has one of the highest average snowfalls of any ski area in North America. With 5 chairlifts and a dedicated beginner learning carpet zone, the terrain offers adventure for all ability levels as well as many lessons and programs for skill progression. Their amazing team, consistent trail grooming and bustling lodge make winter on the Mountain even more special!

Ace Brewing is a great partner and so popular with our guests, especially during our fall/winter Sip 'N Stay promotion! These are some real Thrifty smiles! Mike was a lucky winner of our 20th Anniversary “Stronger with Partners” Giveaway with 97.3 Eagle Radio. His prize? A huge $125 Thrifty's Food Basket full of delights!

Where would we be without Thrifty's? We depend on Thrifty’s for so many things: the specialty food and flowers provided to our guests, our own personal lunches, staff event platters, and the list goes on!

Thrifty's has been a Courtenay grocery store favourite choice for more than 30 years. While we all love them for the many things they provide, like their deli counter, bakery, florist shop, natural food selections and more, they are also an amazing supporter of community programs like the Food Rescue Project, Feeding the hungry, fueling athletes, working with health care foundations and nourishing the arts.

Our "Stronger with Partners Giveaway" came to an end Friday night during our 20th Anniversary Celebration with the Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce members. But we will keep celebrating as our winners come to pick up their fantastic prizes!
