Shallow Bay Motel & Cabins Conference Centre is a family run 3 ½ STAR property which has been in business since 1972. Located in Cow Head in Gros Morne National Park(UNESCO World Heritage Site) only 5 minutes from the main highway(Route 430-Viking Trail). Your Gros Morne Getway, we are close to Park sites & attractions, such as Western Brook Pond, Shallow Bay Beach, the Arches, Broom Point Fishing Exhibit and just 5 minutes from an 18 hole golf course with spectacular views. As well, we are centrally located between the Newfoundland Ferry at Port-aux-Basques and the Viking Site at L’Anse au Meadows . Shallow Bay Motel caters to both group tours and individual visitors alike. Featuring 88 units(motel room and cottages), a fully licensed family Restaurant, Neddy’s Pub and Eatery, a Fitness Centre, Sauna, Gift Shop, Laundromat & Outdoor Heated Pool & Hot Tub overlooking the ocean. Cow Head is the HOME of the Gros Morne Theatre Festival which produces high quality LIVE THEATRE annually from June to September right here on site. What an incredible three days filled with amazing music, outstanding performers, great friends, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime! 🎶🍻
We want to extend a huge thank-you to all of our entertainers who brought so much energy, talent, and fun to the weekend. You helped make this festival truly special, and we are so grateful you shared your talents with us! It is so amazing to see so many of you doing what you love.
To every guest who joined us, travelled to be here, danced the nights away, sang along, and celebrated with us — THANK YOU for being part of it!
🏮What a lantern tour! Despite the less-than-perfect weather, we had a fantastic evening! The walk along the trail, followed by a delicious mussel boil-up and s'mores with wonderful live music after the walk. 🔥🎶🦪🍫
Skipper Hotts Band absolutely brought the house down and kept the dance floor packed all night long! 💃🕺 From the incredible music to the amazing energy, they had everyone on their feet, dancing, singing, and having the time of their lives! You guys were absolutely fantastic and helped make our Oktoberfest weekend, one to remember.
Three amazing days. Incredible music. Amazing performers. Wonderful friends. And so many beautiful memories made together. ❤️
