OKIMOT BOAT LAUNCH
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BOAT LAUNCH WILL ONLY OPEN TOMORROW FRIDAY, MAY 15th 2026.
The water level us up a bit but we have 30km/hr north wind with 50km/hr gusts. We can’t put the launching dock in today.

OKIMOT SPRING NEWS ⚓️🚤🛶🎣 -
We are preparing for the summer season however - due to the frost still coming out of the ground and low lake water levels the boat launch will open on Thursday, May 14th THE EARLIEST. We will try and put the launching dock in on Thursday or Friday but another launching option is the government boat launch by Moose Point.
OKIMOT LODGE WILL OPEN THE SEASON ON MAY 22nd.
Looking forward to seeing everybody!

No one has ever seen Tomiko River this high - the lake level is accordingly and there is still snow in the bush.
