Camp Evangeline This is a faith based camping facility providing a safe enviroment for families to bring their kids.

Camp Evangeline is seasonal campground and retreat center providing cabin and trailer/tent rentals for campers and guests. In addition to being a fully functioning seasonal Campground the camp runs two weeks of exciting Family Camp in July and hosts the Maritime PAOC Kids Kamp and Youth Camp in July and August. Camp also offers rental bookings to groups and hosts various other retreats. We also have sites, cabins and trailers available for daily and seasonal rentals.

Camp Evangeline is excited to announce that Stephanie Isrealson will be our evening worship lead for evenings during Family Camp week 2.

Stephanie Israelson from Atlantic Canada, is an award winning recording artist and worship leader, with 37 years of music ministry experience. Stephanie has shared the stage with many other artists like Mercy Me and Rend Collective. She’s led worship for various ministries including National Day of Prayer, Women on the Frontlines, numerous family camps, prayer events and hosted her own “Surrounded” women’s conferences. Stephanie and her team at “Israelson Ministries” have been heeding the call to “Arise & Go”, partnering with churches and leaders across Canada, activating individuals and regions into a heart of worship and awakening.

We are very excited and cant wait to worship with Stephanie, you dont want to miss this time of praise.

Need for Camp.

Camp is in need of some laborers for the next couple weekends.

Unfortunately I am unable to complete all the task required to be ready for Family Camp alone.

Those with plumbing skills would be a great asset. We have multiple toilets that need water valves replaced as well as flush valves. Also some taps that need new cartridge or complete taps.

We have some RVs that need some interior paneling repairs from previous leaks.

As well we need a team that are able to remove old bunks from A2 thru A6 to get them covered with plywood and rebuild bunks for Teen Camp. Teen Camp last year was such a success we ran out of accomadations. A Row cottage could provide 20 more beds, but we need help.

This is more a cry out then a call out. Again, its not a job that can be done by one person. I know everyone is extreamly busy with life these days. But if there are some in the view of tbis post that can hear my "Cry" please let me know your availability. Thanks in advance.

Family Camp is just a ery short time away, the need is there, come help fill it.

Hi Everyone who loves Camp Evangeline, I have been doing my best to get as much as I can done and planned for Family Camp 2026 and making some great strides to putting it all together. But woth that said we are still not ready. So I felt it important to be honest and upfront.

With out help in the area of worship, the fact is we will be have difficulty having worship at every service, that the reality. I have I believe some great speakers to help encourage and maybe even convict, but the preperation of worship before the word is extreamly important for any successful service. Giving God worship and setting the atmosphere is so important, I truely believe God loves to hear from us as he is ready to provide his word through his servant.

My ask is clear, if you know of a team or worship leader who would be available to be a part of this years Camp, get in touch with them first, see if they are willing and then and only then contact me or get them to reach out.

I have been trying for months to get teams together, some can't and still others do not even return a email or text. So I felt I needed to be more direct in the approach to find people to come on board.

There is available honorarium and lodging for those who are available. Please let me know, time is getting shorter by the day to complete this task.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

While canceling Family Camp wont be the outcome, having me lead a sing along isnt going to be pretty.

This year Family Camp Officially starts on Monday July 13th.

This year, for those who come on Saturday we are suggesting that you attend the local churchs in our area and Truro in the morning and then come to a Night of Worship with Gospal Lights in the Tabernacle.

Come prepared to make a love offering towards the group to help offset their travel expenses.

So see you on July 12th at 7 PM and enjoy a night of worship concert by Gospal Lights.

With the new floors, heating and cooling along with a moveable wall section, we can make the room open or as small as we want for eaxh event.
The ability then to have a covered back drop, as well as a screen for movies. This makes Laurie Price building so much more usable hosting events and retreats for small groups.

Share with your church friends. We can easily host small groups, womens retreats, mens retreats, baby showers, wedding showers.

Available sleeping quarters in approximately 17 travel trailers, 20 heated cabins, some with air conditioners and wash rooms. Great showers/ washrooms in our main bathhouse. Availability for catering and or self use rental of our kitchen.

Well I guess if you know anyone who wants to get married at Camp Evangeline and they don't need to be drinking alcohol or smoking anything then we got them covered.

Today proved we can host an amazing experince for a Happy occasion. A small wedding from 80 to 150 guest.

The bride and her team in a 2 bedroom unit, the men in the Purcell building that sleeps 10. The parents in the ID Raymer cottages that have full washroom, sitting area and queen beds with air and heat.

Great location to have a food truck reception with picnick tables under a big shady tree. And a time around the fire for smores and a sing song.

Also available a full kitchen and dining area thats seats 140 comfortably.

Share with your friends, for retreat rentals, weddings, family reunions or so many other possibilities.

We are ready to serve, catering potential as well on site.
