i always think this long weekend is going to be busy. and it is. but it’s also the quietest kind of full.

lights on in every cabin. someone always curled up on their deck or walking along the beach. but it’s soooo serene and slow and breathtaking.

thank you for making this place feel like home this weekend.

how many times has the group chat said, “we should really plan a weekend away”?

maybe it’s time to actually put something on the calendar.

october is such a beautiful time to be here. the leaves are changing, the evenings are cooler, and there’s nothing quite like a few days away with your favourite people.

make dinner together. spend the evening in the wood-fired hot tub. stay up late catching up on everything you’ve missed.

just two hours from Ottawa, with cabins for two or room for the whole crew.

autumn never stays long enough around here.

come spend a little of it with us.

2027 BOOKINGS OPEN OCTOBER 6

We’re putting the finishing touches on our 2027 season and taking a few extra days to make some thoughtful updates before opening our calendar.

Our 2027 bookings will now open Tuesday, October 6.

Mornings at home, before Anupaya wakes up.

For those who don’t know, we live here too. Our home sits at the top of our property at Anupaya, and most days there isn’t much separation between home and work.

But before the chickens, the goats, the cabins, the guests, the emails and everything else that comes with running this place, there’s coffee.

When we started designing our kitchen, a proper coffee nook was highhhh on the list. A little corner for the quieter part of the morning before the day gets rolling.

We’re still waiting on a few final pieces before we share the whole kitchen, but we couldn’t wait to share this little corner of our home.

we named these sweethearts after what was already growing here. clover, willow, maple, cedar…

because from the beginning, we wanted this place to feel rooted in where it was. cabins tucked between the trees, along the river, following the shape of the land instead of asking the land to change for us.

five years later, there are twelve of them - some old, some new, some tiny, some made for a whole crew. each one a little different. each one belonging here.
