Fall at Cokely Cove: Heated Pool, Hot Tub, and the Best Light of the Year

September and October on Denman Island are, to a lot of people who know the place well, the best two months it has. The afternoon light goes long and gold. The water is calm. And the oceanfront looks the way it looks in every photo you have ever seen of the Gulf Islands.

At Cokely Cove the pool is heated through the season and the hot tub never goes off, so the swimming does not stop when summer does. A long swim in the afternoon, then the hot tub after dark with the ocean out in front of you.

Beyond the property, fall on Denman is made for slow days. The shoreline walks are at their best this time of year.

Fall rates are in effect now through the end of October, on both weekend and midweek stays. If you have been meaning to book the place and kept losing out to the summer calendar, this is the window.
