Very proud to be providing nature-immersed housing to the team at Whitecrest Mushroom Farms, who was recently featured in the CBC.

When putting the Le Host project (as we know it) on pause in late 2021, the priority was finding a partner who could utilize our lodging space while doing earth healing work.

Having learned about the healing power of mushrooms while eating a lot more ourselves, it felt like pure synchronicity when our needs crossed with Whitecrest and we co-created an arrangement to provide long-term lodging to the team.

Lovely evening for some early garden bounty and seasonal hothouse tomatoes! 🍅😌

Creamy coconut manna (in lieu of mozzarella) jive with the acidity of the tomato and balsamic, sweetness of the fresh basil, zing from the young chive buds, and nuttiness of the freshly toasted flax seeds.

Also snuck in some Ontario-grown alafalfa sprouts for some extra crunch. And of course sea salt, black pepper, olive oil...
