Ox Narrows Bridge. Information we received today. Yesterday a Fire Dept rescue team launched a boat in the lake at the Marina launch. They headed north. At the bridge they hit the gas and a large wake was created. A boat coming the other way had a wave come over their bow and was almost swamped. People sitting on the Firehouse Resort docks were given a good scare. Not sure why this happened. We have the highest respect for the first responders. FYI this area is a no wake zone. However right now the trout are spawning under and around the bridge and bays on either side. No fishing within 100 meters of the bridge from Sept 15th until mid November is allowed while the trout are spawning. Very important there is no wake during this time. We have a lot of new people on the lake. Please pass the word to your neighbors. New signs were up, but were stolen last year. Thx
