A bit about the place & what you can expect during your stay;
Our cabin is located on the west arm of Wabigoon Lake, less than 10 minutes from Dryden. The cabin sits right at the lakeside on our private 300 acre property.
To get here from the City of Dryden follow Highway 594 past the Domtar Mill for approx 5km then turn left onto Lever Road. Our private driveway which begins at the dead end of Lever Road is 1km long! Watch for different wildlife along the drive in!
Your hosts are onsite. Our family home is located next door to the cabin (aprox 100 yards) & separated by trees with a separate beach area. There is 3000ft of private shoreline & no other places along this side of the bay area .
The cabin sleeps up to 4 people & has two separate bedrooms. (Bedroom #1 double bed - Bedroom #2 double bed) The kitchen, dining & living area is open concept, with patio door out to the deck, where BBQ is located.
The cabin is fully equipped with all you should need to enjoy your stay!
Inside, the cabin has full hydro. There is an outhouse located directly out the back door to the cabin for easy access. There is no indoor washroom. Shower house located directly beside cabin.
There is a propane stove with an oven in the kitchen, fridge, microwave, drinking water dispenser, pots, pans, dinnerware, cutlery & cooking utensils, dish rags & kitchen linens, toaster, kettle, tea pot & coffee pot (both electric & percolator if you want to enjoy a true “CAMP coffee!”)
The kitchen is equipped with a sink with running water from the lake (hot water on demand tank & operational during warmer months only). Sink water is not for consumption & drinking/cooking water will be provided.
During your stay propane for the oven, BBQ & hot water on demand tank will also be provided.
The cabin is heated by fireplace. On a cold night light the wood stove & curl up on the couch with a book or a family board game.
All bedding linens & towels provided.
Cell service for all our known carriers should be available onsite.
The cabin is equipped with wifi & a tv with DVD player! A “firestick” is provided for the tv to watch your own Netflix or streaming services!
We share our land with lots of wildlife! On our property we’ve seen bear, lynx, coyote, wolves, ducks, loons, Canadian Geese, otters, partridge, eagles, deer, rabbits, snapping turtles, swans, many different song birds & our neighbour, the beaver who is seen swimming out in the lake almost daily!
We respect wildlife & nature so we ask you please don’t feed or harass any wildlife & leave the area as you found it, undisturbed.
During your stay we will remove your household garbage. Please leave garbage in the designated area & it will be removed. Leaving garbage elsewhere can attract wild animals & to avoid this we ask you to do your part.
Dogs are welcome! We ask you to maintain control of all pets at all times, supervise them when outdoors & to please always clean up after them! Pets are NOT to be left inside the cabin unattended. We do have two friendly chocolate labs- 13 year old, R***r & 3 year old, Wren who roam the property!
