First of all, B found this spot that is somehow right up my alley and yet I have driven past it probably 300 times in my life without ever knowing it was there. How does that even happen?! Needless to say, it did not disappoint!

I’ve known B since the very early days of elementary school, so getting to photograph this chapter of her life was extra special. Now, mind you, I’ve had her on Facebook and Instagram for a LONG, long time, but I’m not in the business of checking out people’s boyfriends. 😂
So when she showed up with not your average Joe with the hand tattoos, I have to admit I was a little surprised!
Because are we sure this is the same B I remember from elementary school who would cry at the thought of having to speak in front of a crowd? lol!

Also, can we talk about the fact that B lost a nail on her ring finger hand approximately 10 minutes into this session?! Adding a fingernail back onto well over 50 images was definitely not on my bingo card for the day, but I’ll do just about anything for my clients, although I can confidently say I never expected to become a digital nail technician. 😂

These two claimed they were awkward in front of the camera, but I’m going to have to disagree. Their chemistry spoke for itself, and I genuinely loved getting to see these two together. There’s something so special about getting to watch someone you’ve known for so long step into a whole new chapter of life, and I’m so glad I got to be the one to capture these memories for them.

I cannot wait to see what this next chapter has in store for you both. Something tells me it’s going to be a really good one.

T came to me with a vision… did that vision come true? To an extent.

The reality is, we were both hoping for that dreamy, sunny haze that apparently T & I are equally obsessed with. But sometimes Mother Nature has other plans… and instead, we got clouds.

Did these two absolutely shine anyway? 100%. Just look at them! How freaking sweet are they?!

And then these two showed up in this old white dodge… with absolutely no intention of using it for photos. I literally looked at them and said, “…do you… do you like this truck?” 😂
Obviously the answer was yes, so I immediately said, “we have to get some shots with it!”

So after we finished up in the field, that’s exactly what we did. And hell yes, we did.

No sunny haze, but honestly? I am absolutely obsessed with how these turned out. Sometimes the unexpected parts of a session end up being some of my favourites.

I cannot wait to capture these two all over again for their wedding next year!🥹🤍

These family photos were LONG overdue, and I’m so happy we finally made them happen! 🤍

I’ve been lucky enough to know this beautiful family for a few years, especially because they’re family to my best friend. They truly are the kind of people who are just as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside, and it was such a treat getting to capture them together.

I’ll admit, I was a little worried about “A” because I know he can be a bit shy… but WOW, did he come to these photos ready to prove me wrong! He completely came out of his shell, had so much fun, and was absolutely adorable the entire time.

So thankful I get to know and photograph families like this one.

A day late… because, well, LIFE.

But I couldn’t let these sweet little beachside cake smash photos wait any longer! We had to dodge runners, bikes, and a little bit of rain threatening to ruin our plans… but honestly, so worth it.

And of course, a first birthday cake smash wouldn’t be complete for this princess without all the pink and bows! 🎀🎂
She absolutely rocked her session and looked like the sweetest little birthday girl.

Another session I absolutely haven’t gotten around to posting… and of course, we’re back at the beautiful Pols Family Farm!

We had to sneak these photos in before the oldest headed off to school, making this session a little extra bittersweet for Mom & Dad. 🥹

There were so many laughs, so much fun, and maybe a few prompts this crew hasn’t been asked to do together in quite some time… like, “Okay guys, let’s run around Mom & Dad!” 😂 Tell me the last time these three willingly partook in that?!

They were such a fun crew, and can we talk about how amazing everyone looked?! The outfits, the personalities, the setting… everything just came together perfectly.

And of course, we had to sneak in some photos of Mom & Dad showing a little love. If you’ve booked photos with me before, you already know this is my go-to for your family session. Because underneath all the chaos of raising kids, you’re still a couple too, and I’m always going to make sure we capture that.

Great outfits, great people, the most beautiful setting, and memories made just before another big chapter begins.

Okay, I am SO sorry for absolutely lacking on posts, but I am still so obsessed with these extended family photos that haven't gotten their moment!

The sunset at the local Pols Family Farm was absolutely EVERYTHING for this session, and can we talk about how perfectly everyone coordinated their outfits?! 😍 The colours, the golden light, the love between this beautiful family — it all came together so perfectly.

There’s just something so special about having family together and documenting these moments to look back on for years to come.
