Lots of snow at the camp this year! Any predictions as to when the ice will be out? Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth in Shokopee last weekend. It was great meeting everyone. I can’t wait to get the new groups out on Lac Seul that booked with us at the show. We returned to Ear Falls to a bunch of fresh snow and another great Northern Lights show.

How about these early season Blue Walleye! There is over 7” of ice on the small back lakes now. With low temps and little snow the ice is building quickly. The Campbellford crew got it done again this year. Congrats Matt and Jake on this absolute beauty! What a great week fellas! We are already looking forward to doing it again next year. Loins sizzling on the grill under the Northern Lights!

We had an old friend stop by when he was in the neighbourhood and he dropped off a great wall hanger for the lodge. Thank you Christian for the jersey we can’t wait to get it behind glass and on display!
The walleye bite has been great the last couple of weeks on Lac Seul. If you are thinking about booking a late season fishing trip dont hesitate to ask about availability as we are open year round.

Fishing has been so good on Lac Seul that we had a guest decide to retire this week to spend more time fishing! Congratulations Paul on your upcoming retirement! We also took that group of guys to a local lake to get a few trout for the smoker and landed a couple of beauties. The highlight for the week was being told “I have caught more fish this week than I have caught in my entire lifetime!” The legend of Lac Seul is Reel!
