❗️❗️Our last Official Camping Day with Kehewin Provincial Recreation Area was, Wednesday, September 30th, 2026. ❗️❗️

We thank each of you for your support throughout this year's camping season, we also look forward to seeing both our new and returning campers in 2027. 🏕️

Please keep an eye out for our seasonal report near the end of October, regarding our operations, general feedback, and what we are planning for the new year in 2027. 📝

Good evening!

Please let this post confirm that dock #2 (replacement for dock #1 that got swept away from all the rainfall in May of this year) is finished and will be lowered into the water no later than Friday, August 14th, 2026.

Note: Dock #1 that got swept away in May from all the rainfall, will be extracted from the lake this week, so please watch out for people working.

Thank you for your patience as we worked towards getting this amenity back in usable condition. 🏕

Hello, we did not rehome the dog in this post. We simply shared the information that we had at the time. We did not assume responsibility, our campground caretaker simply let us know about the situation. (This is a high risk to other campers in the area as we do not know where this dog came from or if he had any ailments)

We also spoke with Alberta Parks Representatives and with the Conservation Officer for the Cold Lake District. They advised us that they have no resources to relocate the dog.

At this time, the dog is not at the campground anymore. So it is not our responsibility, please contact Alberta Parks Representatives in Cold Lake or the Conservation Officer for more information.

As there have been numerous requests from our campers/campettes lately, please let this notice confirm that "we are not offering any discounts nor is there any free camping for the 2025 season."

🌸🌻 Happy May long, everyone! 🌷🌺

Please refer to the photos below. These will be posted throughout the campground to ensure you know if a stall is reserved, who to contact, and notice to everyone that only registered campers after 11:00pm daily. (We will be monitoring the campground daily)

Signage to be released before June 1st, 2025:

- Firewood keeper contact information (pricing will be included)
- List of general contacts for the surrounding area, (i.e, Police, Ambulance, Fire Station, Towing Services, Gas Stations, Tourism Destinations, etc)

📣Official Notice for our most recent “Price Increase” in the 2025 Camping Season.📣

The reasons for the increase pertain to the minimum wage increase on April 1st, 2025, along with purchasing equipment for maintaining the beautiful landscape at Kehewin Lake Campground. Notably, we will also be refurbishing the three outdoor restrooms located in the general area. (Before and after photos to be posted, our mandate is to get this done before the end of May 2025)

The team officially increased the price from $23.00 per night, back to $28.00 per night as of Friday, May 16th, 2024.

Gordon and Dayna Gadwa, also returned as our Campground Caretakers for the 2025 season, along with Kendrick Rain as Administration. In addition, please look out for our monthly newsletter as each post will introduce our work experience students, along with keeping you up-to-date with both our current and long-term operational goals.
