As the season of 2025 starts to wind down we just wanted to give a moment of thanks and gratitude for the couples, family’s and individuals that continue to support this little slice of heaven. With all the bumps and detours business brings, thank you for supporting our family and this land. We will continue to improve, fix, and make it better year after year as our dedication to not only you, but Elliot Lake and the beautiful trees and water that surrounds us.

Our dedication is unwavering, and we will continue to put everything back in to this park year after year. We are so proud of the upgrades so far and although a bit deflated this year with some of the bigger issues, grateful for the skilled contractors in Elliot Lake who’ve stepped up to fix and reinforce the structures that bring a space for gathering and community.

Thank you for being here, for those who are so respectful and kind, to others who come in and out from cities and countries around the world. This is a unique job to have and our entire family thanks you for your patronage and support.

Now we plan for 2026 :). See you then! Happy Thanksgiving!

If you’re staying in the park tonight, get outside and look up! The Northern Lights are unreal tonight. Went out in my pyjamas to capture this incredible light show.

Our favorite weekend of the year kicks off tonight with the festivities beginning tomorrow.

Saturday night at 6:30 pm we will be on the deck serving for our complementary corn roast. Fireworks begin at dusk. Psst….there will be more than in any previous years in the park’s history!

We have 2 serviced trailer lots open and 2 tenting spots if you’d like to join us! Call 705 848 2804 to book.

We had 25 kids participate in out annual Kids Fishing Derby this weekend with prizes for the biggest (and littlest) fish.

Big thank you to Linda Dumont, Brian McKay, Shannon Maloney, Lisa Siebke-Dumont, and Erika Jarmovitch for volunteering and organizing.

Also a very special thank you to Andre Brisebois for donating the $50 prize money for “Smallest Fish”, Mark from Elliot Lake Meats & Deli for donating the hot dogs, Elliot Lake Trading Post for donating worms and Canadian Tire for donating fishing poles and prizes! We appreciate all of you thank you so much!!

Not only is it a long weekend, it’s our annual Kids Fishing Derby weekend coming up. If you haven’t signed up for Saturday - get on that quick!

Camping availability update - we have 1 waterfront tenting spot and 1 that isn’t waterfront. That’s it that’s all! The entire park is sold out otherwise so if you were thinking of camping don’t think too long. Give us a call to scoop up the last spots 705 848 2804.

Happy Canada Day! Wishing you all a day of strength, and gratitude for this exquisitely beautiful country we call home. You don't know what you have until it's gone. We experienced this earlier this year when we left the country, and came back with a whole new appreciation for where we live. Wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Sometimes a change in perspective is exactly what is needed to find gratitude.

Thanks for being here, for supporting us over the years, decades, and summers. We appreciate you!

The best thing about South Bay park is this. We are right on South Bay which merges into Dunlop Lake, which has a perimeter of 43 kilometres and a surface area of 2714 acres.

There are dozens and dozens of these little islands you can dock at and discover, the most gorgeous sunsets, and a peace you won’t find anywhere else.

It’s truly a slice of heaven.

Contact us to book your camping or trailer spot for the summer! We have serviced, unserviced and waterfront transient lots. All seasonals are sold out, but you can still book for a day, a week - or two!
