The end of the 2026 season is upon us! South Bay Park is now officially closed until next year.

Thank you to everyone who spent their summer, weekends, and family time on our grounds. It’s such a joy to share this magical place with others every year. It’s truly such a special spot and we couldn’t be more grateful to be here.

The park is closed until May 15, 2027, however we are still reachable if you’d like to make reservations for next year, or are interested in a seasonal spot for the upcoming season. Contact us via email at [email protected].

Pssttt we’ve been keeping a little secret! Mark your calendars!!

This year, we will be one of the official venues for Elliot Lake Arts Club, Arts on the Trail event!

Come visit on Saturday September 26th from 9 am to 5 pm where we will have amazing artists like Mary Benton, Richard Boose, Robert Potvin and Chloe Steeper!

There will be free coffee and snacks for the visitors at the South Bay Park stop 🙂.

Amazing news!

Elliot Lake Fire Department Lifts Fire Ban For Open Air Burning.

Fire Chief John Thomas announced today that the fire ban in Elliot Lake has been lifted due to improved fire conditions and rain in the forecast. Residents must continue to follow all fire permit rules and regulations.

The Elliot Lake Fire Department would like to thank residents for their patience and for following the rules of the fire ban.
