s gradually been transformed into a tranquil gem of a wilderness resort that appeals to families seeking quality vacation time, or the avid sportsperson seeking a paradise for anglers and hunters. There is lots of space for kids to run around, and they'll love the step-like waterfalls and pools that descend from Flack to Mikel Lake, just outside the chalets. As well as two beaches, the lodge also offers tennis, an eco-friendly infra-red sauna, and an 8-person indoor hot-tub. Boats, motors, canoes and pedal boats are also available by the day or by the week. Bordering on the beautiful Mississagi Provincial Park, known for its scenic hiking trails along the shorelines of numerous Canadian Shield lakes, Laurentian Lodge boasts access to a superb lake trout fishery on Flack Lake, and abundant spec and pike opportunities in any one of the many surrounding lakes and streams. In the miles of Crown land surrounding the Lodge, hunting opportunities abound for black bear, moose, deer, and bird, in season. Laurentian Lodge also provides a spectacular venue for weddings, conferences, and other group functions. Our fully licensed dining room and impressive banquet hall, both constructed of white pine logs and hand-crafted pine trusses, serve as an extraordinary setting for any occasion. What a lovely conclusion to our 53rd summer season! Thank you to everyone - both familiar faces and new friends - who joined us for our annual Thanksgiving dinner. We’re truly grateful that you chose to share your holiday with us, and we hope it was a memorable evening. Our dining room will now be closed for the winter, but we can’t wait to welcome you back in May 2026 for more great meals and good company.
