Last minute availability at the High Line hike-in eco cabin for this week!

Due to a last minute cancellation, the nights of Wed Jun 10 & Thurs June 11 are now available to be booked!

High Line is one of our beautiful hike-in eco cabins at remote High Lake. Guests get to the cabin by hiking a 30-40 minute trail and we transport all your luggage for you.

The cabin will sleep up to 6 (yes it is dog friendly!). It is lake-front with a private swimming dock, has a private canoe and kayak, large screen porch, full kitchen and bathroom, and a cozy loft.

Rates start at $418/ night for the first 4 guests.

The Sandpiper High Lake eco cabins available ✨this week + weekend✨! Come enjoy the heat at the lake!

Rates start at $418/ night (midweek)/ $515 /night (weekend). This cabin is not dog friendly (sorry!)

The cabin will accommodate up to 6 people. Sandpiper is one of our remote eco cabins on High Lake. Guests park at our Welcome centre on Falcon Lake and enjoy a 3 km walk to the cabin. We look after transporting all your luggage.

Folks! There have been a few last minute cancellations in May for the Hike-In Eco Cabins at High Lake. Snag these dates while you can and enjoy spring at the lake.

✨Whiskey Jack Opening May 4th - 8th
Rates start at $318/night for the first two guests. Minimum 2 night stay required. Whiskey Jack can accommodate up to 6 people and is dog friendly.

✨Kingfisher Opening May 22nd - 24th
Rates start at $365/night for the first two guests. Kingfisher can accommodate up to 4 people and is not dog friendly.

Rates start at $515/night for the first 4 guests. Sandpiper can accommodate up to 6 people and is not dog friendly.

It’s hard to believe that May is just around the corner, we welcome arrival of warm temps and the buds starting to show on the trees!

Here at the resort, we are busy getting ready to open up the High Lake eco cabins for the season.

Have you checked out our “off the grid” cabins on High Lake? The lake is remote access, meaning no roads in and no other cabins on the lake, so guests get to their cabin by hiking or biking a beautiful 2.5 km trail as we transport all the luggage for you. Each cabin features its own unique design, utilizing different alternative building styles such as straw bale, log, and timber frame.

These cabins book up fast, but you can still find spring and fall availability if you are interested in a stay.

Join me on April 26 in the Chalet at Falcon Trails Resort to hear about my latest novel, The Longest Night!

My longtime friend and fellow author Donna Besel Author will be hosting the evening. We’ll have a reading, conversation, and plenty of time for a Q&A. Afterward, we’ll have refreshments and I’d be more than happy (and a little bit humbled) to autograph a copy for you.

Hiring: Housekeeping staff, full-time and part-time

We’re looking for a couple of friendly and hospitable people to facilitate vacation experiences that go above and beyond guests’ expectations. Our housekeeping team ensures that we’re welcoming guests to fresh, clean cabins for every stay - making a great first impression and setting the stage for a relaxing vacation. If you’re a person who enjoys physical work, attention to detail, and a workplace in beautiful natural surroundings, we’d love to hear from you! The full-time position will be approximately 32 hrs/week. The part-time position will be approximately 12-16 hrs/week.
