Looking for something to read while staying with us?
We have a lot of books to choose from in our library.
BUT, if you want something else, or to add to your own collection, visit the local bookstore in town, The Book Lady at 24 Market St.

Dana has a large and interesting selection of books, but also some games, puzzles and other souvenirs to choose from.

And be sure to say hello to Myrt - a very curious and friendly turtle!

Finally got the chance to try
The food was amazing! So many flavours of India, so well-prepared and so nicely-presented. This restaurant was already included in our guidebook as a local option, but now we will also be able to recommend it as a personal favourite!

We are so pleased to have created a small collaboration partnership with Ruthie from and

We wanted to offer our guests a small token gift as a souvenir of their visit to the Kawartha area.

These smaller format candles are perfect!
Nice size, nice price.

During the summer months when there are more bugs, we give a citronella-based candle.

For the Fall, we will give the Kawartha Pine version.

In the Spring we will probably give the wildflower scented one.

All of these are great and so far, our guests have liked them too.

But we will probably be keeping the Coconut Lime Verbena for ourselves. Shhh! 😉😁
