The last groups of our season departed the lodge on July 21st, to end a great fishing season at Slippery Winds Wilderness Lodge. After a bit of a break, back home in Winnipeg, we are now waiting for our flight from Thompson, MB to Kaska Goose Lodge, Hudson Bay Lowlands, Manitoba, Canada, https://kaskagoose.com to get ready for our waterfowl hunting season.

Brothers Leighton & Beau and their Dad - Dan had a great time catching and releasing multiple species during their visit to Slipper4y Winds Wilderness Lodge. We were planning on having a fireworks display for our guests on Canada Day, however the weather didn't co-operate. As it turned out, last night - July 4th, was a perfect evening for fireworks, so we celebrated a combined Canada Day / July 4th holiday with our guests
