Hiring Front Desk
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Front Office Supervisor / Assistant to the Front Office Manager to join our vibrant hospitality team. This pivotal role combines leadership, guest service excellence, and operational support to ensure a seamless and welcoming experience for all visitors and guests. As a key member of our front desk team, you will oversee daily front office operations, assist in managing guest relations, and support the front office staff in delivering exceptional hospitality services. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a positive first impression and uphold the high standards of our establishment.
Duties
Supervise front desk operations, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes while maintaining a warm, professional demeanor.
Assist the Front Office Manager in rate loading, group bookings, coordinating daily activities, staff scheduling, and training to foster a motivated and customer-focused team.
Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette to address inquiries promptly and courteously.
Provide exceptional guest services by addressing guest needs, resolving issues swiftly, and ensuring a memorable stay or visit experience.
Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using hotel management software.
Support the implementation of hotel policies and procedures related to guest services, safety, and security protocols.
Maintain clear communication with other departments to ensure smooth operations across the property.
Utilize multilingual or bilingual skills to assist diverse guests effectively, enhancing overall guest satisfaction.
Flexible schedule. Able to work, days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or hospitality is highly preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency with multi-line phone systems.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele.
Knowledge of guest services standards within the hospitality industry.
Familiarity with front desk software and hotel management systems is advantageous.
Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to support team members effectively.
