Taltson River Pike Fishing is back in operation after a long run with Covid-19 and flooding.
We are operating within the existing kitchen and tent frames while we are going to take some time to get the rebuild done. The rebuild will take place further back up on higher ground on the same lot.
Now accepting bookings for 2024 call 867-376-0022 to speak with the owner for rate and availability or email [email protected] with any questions.

Aurora Nights Lodge will not be opening for the Fishing Season of 2021. Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic the borders will not likely be opening to outside visitors.

Another reason we will not open this summer is a major flood of water went through the Taltson River. The water level in Nov/Dec rose approximately 16 feet above the normal height. Therefore the water took out all of camp. All the houses flooded at least 2 ½ feet inside the buildings. Everything is damaged. We may have to move camp to a new, higher location before we rebuild. We are not sure how long this will take, but we will reopen as soon as we can. We are working closely with the Government to try figure out some sort of compensation. We are hoping they help us rebuild.

Those of you who are already booked, we can move you to a later date. Those of you who would like to book, let’s wait a few more months before we start making plans.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you but, it is out of our control. We can only work hard on trying to get things back to normal. I will keep everyone that is booked informed on our progress and when we will be opening again.

I have attached some pictures of camp to show the damage. We cannot know the full extent of the damage until after the ice drops and melts.
