Fred Fest returns to Fort St. John from August 21-22, 2026! 🎉🎶
We’re proud to be a sponsor of this year’s event, and with our hotel located just a 6-minute drive from the festival grounds, we’re the perfect place to stay for all the Fred Fest fun.

If you haven't already marked it in your calendar, here is your reminder to get your tickets and save the date. Fred Fest 2026 is shaping up to be an incredible event and you won't want to miss it!
Clearly with so many new followers, many of you have never attended, so we'd like to tell you a little bit about us.
We are a family run music festival featuring top shelf country music with an emphasis on emerging artists and local talent. Our goal is to provide the Fort St. John and surrounding area with a safe, fun and economical weekend of fantastic entertainment and memories made. Our artists are all Canadian, some local, some from a little farther afield. We really do believe in supporting local, not just talking about it. We feature local vendors for merchandise and food trucks, and we don't charge them
a fee😊. We feature amazing local talent to provide them a stage to help launch their careers to the next level (and yes of course we pay them!) Our poster art is printed at a local shop. We support local youth groups by donating to their clubs in exchange for their help at our festival. New this year we will have a by donation Pancake Breakfast on Saturday morning for our campers in support of the BC High School Rodeo Association! We fundraise at our festival for local charities, and to date have donated over $54,500.00 that directly aids and impacts our community, friends and neighbours. Pretty cool eh?!
We are a unique festival with a laid back vibe where the rules are few because we know that people can be treated like adults. Our bring your own cooler and camp chair policy ensures that your weekend will be affordable, and not spent in long lines waiting for service. We offer very reasonably priced camping in a gorgeous spot overlooking the beautiful mighty Peace River. If you choose to just come for the day we are a quick trip to FSJ with Sisters DD or Uber! Our pricing is as low as we can make it and still provide an incredible top shelf experience, and it all happens within minutes of Fort St. John.
If you think this sounds incredible, you are RIGHT! We will never be Fort St. Johns largest music festival, and we don't strive to be. As a matter of fact, we will never let ourselves grow too big, because then we might lose our amazing flavour. We were also so honoured to receive Best Festival in this years North Peace People's Choice awards! We do anticipate selling out this year, so if attending is on your list, make sure you don't delay too long in getting your tickets. Once they're gone, they're gone! Camping passes in particular are quite limited. We are a rain or shine event☀️
