Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Fox Creek, Alberta
Full Time

We're looking for an experienced mechanic who takes pride in their work and knows that reliable equipment starts with the person maintaining it.

At ProFoxx Rentals & Fencing, our fleet keeps job sites across Northern Alberta running. Skid steers, telehandlers, compressors, generators, light towers — the work is hands-on and varied, and we need someone who can diagnose a problem, fix it right, and move on to the next one.

A few of the things we're looking for:
*Experience with heavy, construction, or agricultural equipment
*Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
*Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
*Class 5 licence required

Responsibilities include:
*Diagnosing and repairing rental equipment
*Preventative maintenance and pre-rental inspections
*Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
*Keeping the fleet maintained and customer-ready

Do you like working outdoors, getting your hands dirty, and being part of a strong local team? ProFoxx Rentals is looking for a reliable, hard-working Wash Bay Attendant / Yard Person to keep our equipment clean, safe, and ready for the toughest jobs in Northern Alberta.

What You’ll Do:

Pressure wash and detail rental equipment so it’s customer-ready
Perform basic inspections to keep equipment safe
Keep the yard clean, organized, and running smoothly
Help load and unload equipment for customers
Pitch in with light maintenance and service checks
Be part of a safety-first crew, following all safety procedures and protocols

What We’re Looking For:

Strong work ethic, dependable, and team-minded
Able to work outdoors in all seasons (rain, snow, shine)
Physically fit and hands-on, able to lift
Bonus if you have mechanical know-how, forklift, or skid steer skills
Driver’s license preferred

⛳️ | Good Golf. Great Company. Even Better Cause.

Last Friday, the ProFoxx Rentals & Fencing crew had a blast sponsoring a hole at the Pembina Pipeline Corporation Golf Tournament at The Whitecourt Golf & Country Club

Cold drinks? ✅
Snacks? ✅
A “Chip Into the Toilet Seat” challenge? 😂 Absolutely.

Most importantly, it was all in support of organizations making a real difference in our communities, including the Community Lunch Box Society, Valleyview Food Bank, Swan Hills Food Bank, and Silver Birch Golf Club.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our hole, took a shot at the challenge, shared a laugh, and helped support some incredible local initiatives.

We're helping keep the Fox Creek Slow Pitch Association Beer Fest Ball Tournament shine a little brighter by donating one of our light towers for the weekend.

⛳️ A great day on the course with great people.

This year’s Fox Creek Oilmen’s Golf Tournament was another fantastic opportunity to connect with friends, customers, and industry partners who help keep our communities and our industry moving forward.

Whether it’s on the job site or on the fairway, strong relationships are built one conversation at a time.

A big thank you to the organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who made another successful tournament possible. We’re proud to be part of a community that continues to come together to support one another.
