Good news at Nithi!
We are hooked back up to our main water system and everything is working as it should. The boil water advisory will remain in place for 1 more week as an extra precaution.
So now we can get back to the fun stuff...
Like a Fishing Derby in September! A 1 or 2 day Tournament will take place here September 12th/ 13th.
Aaaand there will be more chances to win cash prizes!

💧Update on the water situation here:💧

Our temporary fix is still supplying the Resort with water, although it hasn't been without its hiccups. Low pressure has been the main issue, so for now we suggest to please fill your camper's water tanks as needed. By doing that, you'll have full pressure supplied by your camper's pressure system and it will also relieve some of the stress on the temporary submersible pump.

As for the big question of "when will the main water pump be fixed", we have done everything we can up to this point and now we are just waiting on the Electrician to come out this week to wire the new pump in. (Hopefully Wednesday)
After that's done, we will place the new pump back in the lake and if everything goes smoothly, the Resort's water will be back to normal before the weekend BUT I will post the official announcement once the project is completed.

We are still on a boil water advisory so bring lots of drinking water!

Due to the boil water notice, we cannot make ice at this time, so please purchase your ice in town, or bring your own ice packs and store them here in our deep freeze and use them as needed (write your name on them 🙂)

Thank you everyone for your patience and understanding during this time. C**t has done everything he can to restore our water as quickly as possible and prep for the Electrician, while Lynn and Larissa maintain the temporary fix in the meantime.

Good news! The water is back on. We have fixed the issue temporarily with a submersible pump until we can locate the main pump in the lake to replace it. We are now on a boil water advisory, so please bring lots of drinking water!
So we are not out of the woods yet, but for now we have water! Bare with us as we iron out the kinks and respond to any issues in the meantime.

💢💢 Please read! This is a Public Service Announcement to all the guests staying here at Nithi.💢💢
Our main water pump that supplies the Resort with water has crapped out on us, meaning we have no water resort-wide.
I understand this is an incredibly huge inconvenience but we are working diligently on a fix. Please be patient with us today. We will provide an update as soon as the issue is resolved.
Its a good day to get out on the lake I guess 😅
Just a reminder we do have outhouses on the premises.
& Bottled water in the store is FREE until the main water is back online.

We actually pulled it off!
I (Larissa) had so much fun planning and hosting our Derby yesterday, and I can't thank everyone enough!

First, Lynn and C**t for doing all the necessary behind-the-scenes work to keep everything swimming along!

Second, Breanne Seely for taking a load off my plate by serving everyone's dinner. (She's got a super cute Farmstand along highway 16 in Endako btw)
