🚢 When you get to the port ready to board your cruise ship, you'll leave your large luggage with the porters and it will be delivered to your stateroom door a few hours later! This means you want to be sure to have all of your essentials packed in your carryon! 🎒👜

Keep in mind your room will not be ready just yet so anything you bring on with you will have to be carried around!

✅ The few things I recommend you bring in your carry-on luggage would be: passport & documents, swimwear (if looking to enjoy the pool right away), clothes for dinner & any medication you may need!

In this amazingly immersive land, you will find some delicious specialty food and drinks, 2 popular rides, live entertainment and immersive elements in all areas! 🌿

This is a must visit on my trips to Disney’s Animal Kingdom - my tip is hit up this part of the park when you are hungry! The quick service location, Satulii Canteen has delicious and fresh bowl options and is one of the most popular food spots in the park! 🍴

Here's your quick checklist for the ultimate Volcano Bay day:

✅ Towel, there are no towels available for use so be sure to bring your own - you can even bring them from your Universal hotel room!
✅ SPF 50, trust me the Florida sun is no joke and you WILL regret it!
✅ Flip flops, you will find flip flop holders at the bottom of each slide so you can wear them around the park but not have to hold them on your ride down!
✅ Island spirit, if you forget it - the park has more than enough to share 😉
