: 🎶🎬 Musician Joni Mitchell and Director Cameron Crowe Spotted Together at Resort on Sunshine Coast BC Canada 🇨🇦 BY Rojina Ammeh, Exclaim!

Canadian music legend Joni Mitchell and Almost Famous director Cameron Crowe were spotted dining together earlier this week at Ruby Lake Resort on the Sunshine Coast in BC.

Mitchell favours the resort as a prime destination, having visited myriad times, according to the resort's Instagram page. This time, she brought Crowe, who is on board to direct her forthcoming biopic starring Meryl Streep.

Ruby Lake Resort released a statement on its page about the exciting congregation: "As always, being friends with Joni Mitchell means life keeps bringing the most unexpected and beautiful surprises. Last night at Ruby Lake Resort was one of those truly unforgettable evenings where somehow everything aligned. Joni Mitchell arrived with Cameron Crowe from Los Angeles, and what unfolded was the kind of evening you simply cannot plan."

The statement reveals that the duo dined at the resort's fine dining establishment, La Trattoria Italiana: "My brother Aldo and Paolo created a special dinner for all of us. Fresh burrata, prawns, bruschetta on homemade focaccia, wild sockeye salmon, gnocchi… honest, soulful Italian food made with love. Around the table were Joni, her nurse, my mother, Brigit, Paolo, Aldo, and our dear Tanya, who as always delivered such superb care and service."

Crowe and Mitchell appeared to be in good spirits as they posed for a photo with staff at the restaurant. We can't wait to see if the duo return to the Sunshine Coast.
