It’s that time of the year folks. The season is coming to a close..minus temperatures are in this weekends forecast with our first now scheduled for Tuesday. The campground water will be shut off late Monday.
I’m sure all of us are not looking forward to another winter but spring comes fast.
You can still visit your site but there will not be any water so fill your trailer tanks if you want to get a bit more usage to enjoy the fall colours.

20 cm of snow scheduled for Sunday. The water will be shut down next weekend on Sunday afternoon. Have all your trailers winterized and items either stored in your shed or brought home for safe keeping.
The hydro meters have been read and the hydro bills will be sent out on Tuesday. Remember that the bill reflects Aug-Sept 2022 season and the full 2023 season.
Hope the winter isn’t a long one and spring comes early in 2024.

As a reminder..there is a planned power outage this Sunday starting at 7 am through to 3 am. Prepare yourselves for this outage. Hydro is doing upgrades again on our line somewhere.

There is a fire ban on in our area. No open fires are allowed. You will notice smoke in the area this morning. If you have any breathing ailments stay indoors.
The OMNR is actively fighting fires at this time. We are getting the smoke from fires 30 Km away.

For 2022 hydro will be charged for each lot. Cost of hydro is the same as Hydro One charges.
I have mentioned it in the past but have absorbed this cost. There are no lot fee increases for 2022, by the hydro usage will be the responsibility of the user.
Please consider this when renewing your lot fees this spring. If you haven’t already done so, Lot fees due by end of May.

One double lot at $2500/season and one single lot at $1500/ season. Water, sewer and 30 AMP at lot.
Hydro is extra. Each lot metered for 2022.

Just when you thought spring was in the air and we get 5 inches more of snow. Let’s enjoy the final kicks of winter May is coming. I know it’s been a long winter so let’s start the camping season. Snow is melting fast..it’s a bit mushy right now but it should dry up fast. See you all in May.
