2027 bookings are officially open at Hole In The Wall Fishing Lodge and we’re opening dates for both fully guided fishing trips and a limited number of our highly sought after Bring Your Own Boat packages.

If you’ve been talking about doing a Nootka trip, this is the season to make it happen.

FULLY GUIDED
Bring your crew and show up. We supply the boat, guide, gear, accommodations, meals and everything you need to spend your days chasing Chinook, Coho, Halibut, Lingcod & Rockfish.

BRING YOUR OWN BOAT
Fish Nootka your way without hauling half your house with you. We take care of your accommodations, meals, moorage, ice, freezer space and everything back at the lodge.

And with only 12 guests at a time, Hole In The Wall is a completely different experience from the big fishing resorts.

Good food. Cold drinks. Boats at the dock. Stories around the table. Early mornings on the water. Freezers getting heavier by the day.

This is what a Nootka fishing trip is supposed to feel like.

We know our crowd loves spending as much time as possible on the Pacific but here’s your sign to trade the boat for a plane for a day.

See the West Coast from the air, then spend the afternoon soaking in the natural pools at Hot Springs Cove.

Welcome to Hole In The Wall Fishing Lodge.

Hidden in Nootka Sound on the west coast of Vancouver Island, our family operated floating lodge has been welcoming fishing groups since 2006.

Nootka Sound has earned its reputation through generations of serious West Coast fishing. Chinook, Coho, halibut, lingcod and rockfish draw anglers here, but it is the consistency and productivity of these waters that keep them coming back.

Hole In The Wall was built for groups who want to fish hard and make the most of every day on the water. That means early departures, long fishing days, multiple species and experienced local knowledge.

Back at the lodge, guests have comfortable accommodations, substantial meals and everything they need to reset before doing it all again the next morning.
