🚗🔋 Big Power is Coming to Town! ⚡🌲
Greystone on Golden Lake is excited to see our local stops getting a major upgrade! While we aren't the ones behind the installation, we want to give a huge shout-out to the Township of North Algona Wilberforce, the Township of Bonnechere Valley with the FLO Network to bring these high-speed chargers to our area.

These new 50kW Fast Chargers are a massive win for everyone visiting or living in our beautiful towns:

✅ Eganville (Ready Now!): The station at the Municipal Office (49 Bonnechere St. E) is officially live and ready to "fuel" your next leg of the trip!
⏳ Golden Lake (Coming Soon!): This station (pictured!) is being finalized right in the heart of town and will be ready to serve you very soon.

🥙 Grab a Bite While You Wait
When you stop in town to charge, you don’t have to just sit in your car. It’s the perfect chance to stretch your legs and explore:

Golden Gatherings: A must-stop for local handmade goods and clothing. While you're there, check out their organic takeout creations! They have fresh chia puddings, vibrant salads, and wholesome snacks that are the perfect healthy fuel for your afternoon. 🥗🥣

The Cottage Cup: No trip in town is complete without a stop here! Grab a signature coffee, one of their world-famous butter tarts, or browse their great selection of lake wear and gifts. ☕️🥧

If you’re looking for a great local spot to hit up while you're in Golden Lake, definitely check out Golden Gatherings! 🌿✨

It is such a handy place to find local products from around the area and grab some fresh organic produce. They have a little bit of everything, including some really tasty "made to eat" items that Jessica creates in her kitchen—her chia puddings and salads are perfect if you want a quick, healthy bite. 🥗😋

Bonus tip: If you go, make sure to head upstairs! They have a lending book library on the top floor that is such a cool touch for the community.

It’s a perfect stop to stock up on good food and maybe find a new read for the weekend!

🥳⛸️ Early Winter Fun! The Greystone Rink is OPEN on Golden Lake! ⛸️🥳

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the ice is ready and our skating rink at Greystone on Golden Lake is OFFICIALLY OPEN for the season!

Thanks to some perfectly crisp weather, we are opening up much earlier than usual, and the ice quality is phenomenal. Come on out and be some of the first to glide across the smooth surface and enjoy the stunning winter views!

But wait, there's more! The early arrival of winter has also meant an early start for many other activities around the lake. Our local cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails are all active and in fantastic condition!

Lace up your skates, dust off your skis or snowshoes, and make the most of this unexpectedly early start to the winter season. We can't wait to see you enjoying the best of Golden Lake!

Our Lodge Cottage at Greystone on Golden Lake is ready to wrap you in warmth. Picture sinking into a plush armchair, the scent of woodsmoke in the air, a blanket draped over your lap, and the only sound is the gentle pop of the fire.

We were honored to attend the incredible Forage, Feast, Ferment workshop at The Sacred Gardener School in Golden Lake! Megan's passion for wild and local foods was on full display as she masterfully used her ferments to create truly legendary meals. We spent the day not only basking in the abundance of the summer but also learning incredible skills—we made our own sauerkraut, fire cider, and even crafted infused vinegars and salts.
It was the perfect experience to celebrate the harvest as we head into fall, especially with Steven busy gathering in the last of the crops due to our first frost ❄️ in Golden Lake.
