September is my favourite month. Not only do I celebrate my birthday, but the abundance of harvest season is at its best.

And all this fruit!

Picked up some local organically grown produce this morning from Connaught Nursery.

Grapes- Himrods (green seedless)
and Blue - with seeds (yummmmm)
Plums a had my first bite this morning
Spartan Apples
Butternut Squash

We also got Shulist Family Farm potatoes and pie pumpkins, and a few corn cobs left.

Gluten Free baking this week includes:
Cheesy bread
Dinner rolls
Apple Strudel Muffins
Giant Chocolate Chip Cookies
Butter Tarts
Apple Pies
Blueberry Pies

Tomatoes are still going strong Terramor Farm, heirlooms & cherries, we have arugula, onions and bok choy too!

And has our backs for cabbages, herbs, zucchini & kohlrabi and cucumbers.

We finished putting in the new beach dock, just in time for the warm weather! With summer only a few weeks away, we are already planning long afternoons by the water and watching the sunsets from the best seat in the house.

The countdown to summer is officially on, and we cannot wait to get the season started! ☀️👀

🚗🔋 Big Power is Coming to Town! ⚡🌲
Greystone on Golden Lake is excited to see our local stops getting a major upgrade! While we aren't the ones behind the installation, we want to give a huge shout-out to the Township of North Algona Wilberforce, the Township of Bonnechere Valley with the FLO Network to bring these high-speed chargers to our area.

These new 50kW Fast Chargers are a massive win for everyone visiting or living in our beautiful towns:

✅ Eganville (Ready Now!): The station at the Municipal Office (49 Bonnechere St. E) is officially live and ready to "fuel" your next leg of the trip!
⏳ Golden Lake (Coming Soon!): This station (pictured!) is being finalized right in the heart of town and will be ready to serve you very soon.

When you stop in town to charge, you don’t have to just sit in your car. It’s the perfect chance to stretch your legs and explore:

Golden Gatherings: A must-stop for local handmade goods and clothing. While you're there, check out their organic takeout creations! They have fresh chia puddings, vibrant salads, and wholesome snacks that are the perfect healthy fuel for your afternoon. 🥗🥣

The Cottage Cup: No trip in town is complete without a stop here! Grab a signature coffee, one of their world-famous butter tarts, or browse their great selection of lake wear and gifts. ☕️🥧
