We never thought this would be our most frequently asked question but it is!: "what are the cats names?"
A little back story about The Blaeberry Base' professional greeters:
The story starts with buying the property in 2022, when the previous owners left behind their mighty mouser black cat, Princess. She has lived through some crazy seasons of life over the past 15 years she's had here! Missing half of both her ears, Princess is now happy to share a warm bed with the friends we brought on the property the following summer upon moving to the Blaeberry.
In summer 2022, my mom asks me if I can take 1 barn cat from her friends who had multiple unexpected litters on their farm. I said sure, we could give Princess some company! As my mom arrives with the crate, the door swings open and THREE kittens come waddling out. Best surprise of my life ❤️
After sorting out their genders, we settled on Pablo, for the orange one, who was born a suck and will always be a suck. He loves belly rubs and giving hugs. Then there were 2 female tabbies that we named Pumba and Timone as a fun duo. The trio never really became overly friendly with Princess, but enough to share food bowls and beds at least!
Summer 2024 was a busy one! Pumba and Timone both became pregnant and gave birth to 13 kittens in total! It was the best 12 weeks of my life!! We gave away all but 1 runty looking long straggly haired kitten- Tony. Tony is following in the steps of his uncle Pablo with his never ending plea for pets and attention.
The five cats kept eachother great company until summer 2025, we unfortunately had Pumba go missing and never return- the same week a cougar sighting happened in the area. We know she is resting in peace and getting lots of treats and cuddles in heaven ❤️ Her energy lives on through her son Tony- who cannot wait to meet you 💗
