Howdy, campers! 🤠🍁

Golden Municipal Campground is calling all outdoor enthusiasts to come enjoy our golden season! The trees along the Kicking Horse River are putting on a show with their fall colors; the mornings are crisp, and the campground is calm and beautiful right now.

🦃 Thanksgiving Long Weekend, Oct 10–12: Campfires, fresh mountain air, and riverside color. Hosting family in Golden for the holiday? We have room for their trailers and RVs.

🎃 Halloween, Oct 31: Our season finale! Come spend the final night of the 2026 season with us.

During your stay, you can enjoy:

- Riverside power sites, a short walk from downtown Golden
- Water fill-up from our heated hose and access to the sani-dump
- Complimentary hot showers and Wi-Fi
- Coin-operated laundry
- Direct access to the Rotary Trail, right behind the campground
- Special fall-season rates

October is quieter, so walk-ins are always welcome. Camping or not, the Rotary Trail along the river is stunning for a fall walk. 🍂
