Not every great day at the lake is measured by the size of the fish.

Sometimes it’s watching the kids cast a line for the first time. Sometimes it’s discovering a quiet sandy beach that’s only accessible by boat or kayaking to one of the many islands on the lake… simply slowing down and enjoying the beauty of the moment.

These are the memories that keep families coming back to the Gracefield region year after year.

🗺️ Something exciting is taking shape at R&B Retreats!

We're creating our very own custom fishing region map to help guests discover not only Lac Heney, but also the incredible network of lakes surrounding our cottages.

The goal is to make it easier for anglers and outdoor enthusiasts to explore the area, find nearby boat launches, and appreciate just how much this region has to offer.

This is still a work in progress, but I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Last week, our family filled all four cottages.

We spent the week exactly the way so many of our guests do.

Early mornings on the lake.
Afternoons at the beach.
Fishing with the kids.
Fish fries on the porch.
Campfires that somehow lasted longer than planned.

Every time we’re here, we’re reminded why we started R&B Retreats.

Thanks for another week we’ll remember for a long time.

🎣 The trout bite continues!

Long-time guest Gabe, his father-in-law and buddies have been back on the water this week and sent over these beautiful lake trout.

One of my favorite things about R&B Retreats is seeing guests return year after year, bringing family and friends along to experience the fishing opportunities our region has to offer.

🎣 Good luck to Ryan and the Les Guides Du Nord team competing today at the Lac Pemichangan Fishing Tournament!

Lac Pemichangan is one of the many incredible fisheries located near R&B Retreats and is well known for producing quality bass, pike, walleye, and trout.

We’re proud to support local anglers who help showcase the outstanding fishing opportunities available throughout the Gracefield region.
