Why We Don’t Book Independent Flights

I’ve been receiving quite a few questions lately about flights, so I wanted to explain our approach.

In the past, Norwegian Cruise Line offered air packages from many Canadian cities. Recently, they have scaled that program back significantly, with most departures now limited to major gateways such as Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver.

When flights are included directly through the cruise line, we’re happy to coordinate those arrangements as part of your cruise booking.

However, East Coast Cruisers does not arrange independent flights outside of cruise line packages.

Why?

Because we’ve found that when flight disruptions, schedule changes, cancellations, weather delays, seat changes, or airline issues arise, clients are best served by having direct control of their airline reservation. It eliminates confusion, avoids unnecessary delays, and allows you to work directly with the airline when immediate assistance is needed.

Our goal has always been to make travel easier, more transparent, and less stressful. While we know this approach may not suit everyone, we’ve found it provides the best overall experience for our clients.

If you’re considering a cruise and wondering what options are available, feel free to reach out. We’re always happy to explain what’s included and help point you in the right direction.

12 days on the beautiful Norwegian Bliss! And this is a GREAT lineup of ports!

Coach pickups in Sussex, Saint John, and St. Stephen. (very affordable accommodations arranged for those traveling from other provinces to Sussex)

Coach will leave the Feb.28th, and stop in New Haven for an overnight. Then, the crew at Optimum Ride will take us directly to the Manhattan port the following morning!
