We provide our guests with free WIFI, newly renovated (super hot) showers, Tenting, Dry Camping or 15 and 30 amp services, water and sani-dump along with si

Activities on site include sandy beach, swimming or just float down the river on an inner-tube, fishing right off the beach. Local activities include hiking on the world famous Trans-Canada Trail, biking ranging from leisurely ride down a country road to mountain biking for all experience levels, ATV trails (rentals can be arranged quite easily), water skiing/wake-boarding on local Christina Lake (boat rental with/without host can be easily arranged), paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, snorkeling - you name it! Local shopping in pretty Grand Forks along with maybe a stop for some authentic Russian cuisine (Grand Forks known for this). Those of you who love nature, bird watching right from your campsite or within a 5 mins walk is the the Edwards Turtle sanctuary (please drive slow when coming to our location as our small neighbors don't move fast when crossing the road), spot a deer with its new born, watching fish spawning, mountain goats within a 5 min drive. Quiet rural settings with no highway noise. Large spacious sites (no shoulder to shoulder camping here). We also offer clamping which provides you with a turn-key RV camping site with all linens, cutlery and even your fridge stocked and ready for you to cook inside or why not enjoy the provided BBQ and enjoy a cold one in the provided chairs. We are the perfect Hideaway and waiting to become your hosts and friends.

Even the butterflies are friendly at the Country Hideaway. This little guy stayed on my finger for over half an hour.

Hello Campers! We sure hope this finds you all healthy and happy and looking forward to some great times on the river with us! For those of you who put your requests in already, I will need to have you confirm your dates and at that time pay a non refundable $50 deposit. Sorry, but it's the new way we've been forced to do our business. Just to be clear, that $50 will go towards your camping fees once you actually arrive. So please, shoot me a text, or give me a call, or email me your phone number and I'll get back to you. We are so excited to see everyone out in the sun and having fun. Cheers. Mike and Wendy

Camp responsibly this summer (and forevermore) by taking the pledge to follow the Camper’s Code. These 9 rules are simple and easy to follow. If all campers adhere to them, then the camping experience becomes exponentially great for all—campers, animals, and nature, too.

It’s our responsibility as a camping community to do the right thing to respect these incredible outdoor spaces we enjoy so much.
- Plan ahead & be prepared
- Take only photos
- Control your pets
- Respect others
- Practice fire safety
- Store food safely
- Respect staff and signs
- Don’t litter
- Respect wildlife

Choose to camp responsibly.
