With over 2000 feet of shoreline on the Annapolis Basin and looking directly across the shining waters of historic Annapolis Royal, Dunromin has over 2000 feet of shoreline on the Annapolis Basin, whose waters flow into the Bay of Fundy and the Atlantic Ocean. In the earlier times the Mic Maw camped and fished on this very spot and Champlain piloted his great white winged tall ship along the ocean coast to this sheltered harbor of "Port Royale".

The last weekend of summer is coming up and we've got some super fun events planned for our campers for this year's Labour Day Weekend.

Friday Evening - Movie Under the Stars. Movie is always family friendly.

Saturday Morning - Pancake & Bacon Breakfast. Coffee & Tea also served. Make sure to get there while supplies last!

Saturday Evening - 14th Annual Labour Day Dance. Music by DJ Tash.

Sunday Afternoon - Washer Toss Tournament. Partners will be randomly selected each round, so players of ALL skill levels are encouraged to play. Prizes for Top 3 Players!!

What an awesome Halloween Weekend. Thanks to everyone who came out and took part. A lot of trick or treaters this year and a lot of very cool decorated sites. 🧟🧟‍♀️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped out converting our Rec Hall into the Haunted Hall and to the actors who played characters in it. GREAT JOB!!! 👏

We also want to give a special shout out to Eva & Lexi who had the 2 best Costumes we've seen in over 30 years of doing Halloween Weekends. They dressed up as our Woody the Flagman and a Dunromin Campground Map, all drawn by hand! Absolutely incredible! 😍

It's Halloween Weekend at Dunromin this weekend, August 28th & 29th. This is our most popular weekend of the summer and we have a lot planned exclusively for our campers!!

Tuesday - The Rec Hall will be closed starting Tuesday in order to transform it into The Haunted Hall.

Friday Evening - Halloween Movie Under the Stars. Movie is always family friendly. *If raining movie will be cancelled*

Saturday Evening - Trick or Treating around the campground.

Saturday Evening - The Haunted Hall. Don't miss our most anticipated event of the year! If you're wearing a pacemaker DO NOT ENTER! Our volunteers do a terrifyingly amazing job!!

Saturday Evening - Best Decorated Site Contest. Awesome prizes for the top 3 sites. 1st Place wins one free night in a Waterfront Camping Cabin OR 2 free nights on any campsite. 2nd Place wins one free night on any campsite. 3rd Place wins 20 Dunromin Dollars.

What a fun Retro Weekend we just had. Thank you to everyone that came out and tie dyed a shirt with us Friday evening.

Congratulations to everyone that was brave enough to take on the ice bath Saturday afternoon. We had 26 brave souls with quite a few lasting 10 full minutes in the 6 degree water! AWESOME!!

Also, thank you to everyone that dressed up in a costume for our Best Costume Contest at this year's Retro Dance. Congratulations to the Bond Family for sweeping ALL 3 Best Costume Prizes; Best Boy, Best Girl and Best Adult!! Well done!!

It's Retro Weekend at Dunromin this weekend, August 21st & 22nd and we have lots of awesome activities planned exclusively for our campers:

Friday Evening - Tie Dying! Let's get creative. All you need to bring is a white shirt and a plastic bag to put it in. We have all the dyes and elastics.

Saturday Morning - Pancake & Bacon Breakfast. Coffee & Tea also served. This has become VERY popular, so make sure to get there while supplies last!

Saturday Afternoon - Ice Bath. NOT for the weak of heart.....no seriously! 🥶

Saturday Evening - Retro Costume Dance. You don't have to be in a costume to dance, but you do have to be in a costume if you want a chance to win one of three prizes! 20 Dunromin Dollars to Best Boy, Best Girl and Best Adult costume!! Music provided by DJ Tash.

It's safe to say that last nights Chocolate Bar Bingo was a huge success. With 95 players it was definitely the most people we've ever had in our Rec Hall in over 30 years!!

Thank you to everyone that came out to play and thank you for your patience with the late start. We were not prepared for such a huge turnout, so it definitely took some extra time to get everything sorted out before we could start. We have already ordered 200 more bingo cards and will host this event again next year in both July & August.

Also, a very special THANK YOU to Alicia Hirtle, Joanne Sherman, Jessica Thimot and Darlene Yhard for both your help and guidance with how to run things. Much appreciated! And thank you to everyone that helped clean up at the end of the night.

Freddie Mujica, a.k.a. "The Lost Tourist" has stepped up and will be performing for our campers on Saturday, September 19th. Freddie is the one man Latin band. He sings, plays guitar, the congas, the shaker and always puts on an all around awesome show!! Be sure not to miss this evening of authentic live Latin music. Thanks for stepping up Freddie! :-)
