Our Story

Philip and Louise have owned The Camp for over 15 years. They have always shared their cottage life and experiences with many friends and their families over the years. Creating many precious memories. Originally an old Boys Brigade Camp which is the organization that the Boy Scouts branched out of, this property has 10 acres and is on beautiful Lake Muskoka, in Ontario, Canada. Recently dubbed one of the top 10 summer vacation spots in the World by National Geographic (2011), Muskoka is enjoying a resurgence of popularity. There is lots to do within minutes from The Camp, golf, fine dining, drive In movies, shopping, cycling, hiking trails, swimming and more. Some like the closeness of activities and others just love to sit on the deck in the early morning listening to the sounds of the forest and sipping their coffee or lounging at the beach all day soaking up the sunshine and reading a book, or enjoying the lake swimming, canoeing, kayaking or paddle boarding. The Camp sleeps up to 18 people inside (13 not sharing). The location is only 2.5 hours from Toronto and is perfect as a retreat location, family groups or small corporate retreats.
