Join us for a meaningful afternoon on the land with our upcoming Etuaptmumk Walk at Thomas Cove! Guided by this foundational principle of Two-Eyed Seeing, we will explore the trails together to learn how Indigenous knowledge and Western science weave together to help us deeply understand and care for this beautiful landscape.

When: Wednesday, July 15 at 2:00 PM
Where: Thomas Cove Coastal Reserve, Economy Loop. This is a 3.2 km loop with minimal elevation gain, generally considered an easy hike with some exposed roots.

Whether you want to connect with local ecology, learn about traditional Mi'kmaw stewardship, or simply enjoy a peaceful walk along our stunning coastline, everyone is welcome to share in this journey.

Big News! We’re thrilled to announce that the Cliffs of Fundy Geopark has been recommended to receive a green card, and with it, its full UNESCO Global Geopark status for another four years—a powerful reminder of our region’s incredible geological and cultural importance.

This renewed designation puts us back on the world stage, reinforcing our commitment to celebrating Earth’s oldest stories—told through dramatic cliffs, ancient fossils, and powerful Mi’kmaw traditions. Huge thanks to the geologists, community partners, Indigenous leaders, local municipalities, tourism operators, volunteers, and everyone else whose hard work and dedication have brought us to this moment.

Your efforts truly make it possible for future generations to learn from—and explore—the extraordinary landscapes we call home. Let’s keep sharing, preserving, and celebrating the Cliffs of Fundy together!
