Before we go, I just want to take a moment to thank this amazing crew for all their hard work in keeping The Pines running smoothly this season. We are so fortunate to have such a fabulous team who continues to show up year after year — I’m not sure what we did to get so lucky!

We are missing Jeannie and Kevin, two of our incredible on-site managers, and we’re sending them our love and gratitude as well.

If you know...you know.

The squirrel tap is an iconic piece at The Pines, perched on our well water for longer than anyone can remember. Every longtime guest knows it.

This summer, the shut-off finally gave out and the threads were stripped. For a moment, we thought there might be a full-on riot without the squirrel tap.

Thankfully, we tracked down a new one!
The original squirrel has been lovingly repurposed and now has a new home in the back of Cabin 10.

Big thanks to one of our onsite summer managers, Kevin, who made sure this beauty lives on. I mean, come on, how cute is it?! 🐿🚰

How is it possible that we’re already wrapping up our final week of summer guests at The Pines?! We ended the season with a bang, thanks to an amazing group of kiddos who took our weekly craft to the next level. They learned new skills, showed off their creativity, and were bursting with pride in their craftsmanship—we couldn’t have been more impressed!

While we’re sad to say goodbye to summer 2025, we’re already looking forward to welcoming back our loyal guests (and some new faces!) for summer 2026. Same place, same time next year… we can’t wait to see you here!
