The docks will be busy, campfires will be crackling, laughter will echo through camp, and before we know it, another unforgettable summer will officially begin.

There’s something special about camp season — the friendships, the adventures, the growth, the memories that stay with you long after summer ends.

For 80 years, Haliburton Scout Reserve has been shaping adventures, friendships, leadership, campfire stories, muddy boots, canoe trips, unforgettable summers, and generations of youth.

And in 2027… we’re celebrating BIG. 💚

Join us for an epic weekend celebrating HSR’s 80th Anniversary; filled with waterfront events, special programming, campfire traditions, alumni reunions, badge trading, BBQ celebrations, and so much more.

Whether you were a camper, staff member, volunteer, Scouter, parent, or supporter…if HSR has ever been part of your story, this weekend is for you.

🐴✨ NEW PROGRAM ALERT at HSR! ✨🐴

We are so excited to officially introduce our brand new Horseback Riding Program for this summer!

In partnership with an incredible local organization, this experience gives campers the chance to head off-site for a guided horseback riding adventure, build confidence, and try something truly unforgettable. 🌿

The best part? You can book it just like any other HSR program—easy, seamless, and ready to go.

Spots are already filling up quickly (yes, that fast 👀), and we are absolutely loving the excitement and interest we’re seeing around this new adventure!

It’s Volunteer Appreciation Week and we just want to say THANK YOU 💚

Camp doesn’t run itself.

It’s built. Fixed. Cleaned. Carried.

The trails don’t clear themselves.
The cabins don’t fix themselves.
The boat engines don’t service themselves.
The sites don’t stay clear and safe on their own.
And SO much more.

Everything you love about HSR exists because of volunteers who show up and do the work 💪🌲
