Root Beer Float Day is back! Join us outside Balancing Rock this Friday, August 14 between 10:00am and 4:00pm to get your root beer float fix!

Why root beer floats, you might ask? Marriott International traces its beginnings all the way back to 1927 when J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott opened a 9-seat A&W root beer stand, which has evolved into the Marriott we know today.

As Children's Miracle Network's longest-standing corporate partner since 1983, Marriott hotels honour this legacy each year raising critical funds for kids like Ian and Erin.

All funds raised this Friday will be donated to our local Children's Miracle Network hospital, the IWK Foundation.

What a weekend! ⛵

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Sips and Sails, and to Garrison Brewing Co. for helping make it all possible.

Spirits were high with the excitement on the harbour, bellies were full with incredible bites from Chef Ted and the culinary team, and Rankin MacInnis and The Broken Reeds certainly had our feet stompin'.

We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year—bigger and better than ever!

Race begins at 2:00PM

Event concludes at 4:45PM
