Root B**r Float Day is back! Join us outside Balancing Rock this Friday, August 14 between 10:00am and 4:00pm to get your root b**r float fix!

Why root b**r floats, you might ask? Marriott International traces its beginnings all the way back to 1927 when J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott opened a 9-seat A&W root b**r stand, which has evolved into the Marriott we know today.

As Children's Miracle Network's longest-standing corporate partner since 1983, Marriott hotels honour this legacy each year raising critical funds for kids like Ian and Erin.

All funds raised this Friday will be donated to our local Children's Miracle Network hospital, the IWK Foundation.

We hope to see you there!

We're proud to partner with the Halifax Mural Festival, helping bring inspiring art to our city while creating opportunities for local and international artists to share their work within the community.

This season, we are home to five stunning mural installations, including four rotating works along the boardwalk and a brand-new piece on our back staircase overlooking Purdy's Wharf.

Be sure to explore them on your next visit!

What a weekend! ⛵

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Sips and Sails, and to Garrison Brewing Co. for helping make it all possible.

Spirits were high with the excitement on the harbour, bellies were full with incredible bites from Chef Ted and the culinary team, and Rankin MacInnis and The Broken Reeds certainly had our feet stompin'.

We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year—bigger and better than ever!
