Autumn has a way of reminding you to slow down and gather the people you love most.

The two-bedroom cabin at Sandpiper is made for exactly that. Enough room for everyone. A fireplace to come back to after a morning outside. The kind of unhurried days that families talk about long after they happen.

The course is cooler now. It has the kind of colour that only shows up after the summer heat breaks and the valley finally exhales.

Fall golf at Sandpiper is different. Quieter fairways, crisp air, and scenery that does something in October it simply cannot do in July. A lot of golfers are sleeping on this season.

Sandpiper is open three hundred and sixty four days a year. The tee sheet still has room. Book yours before your preferred time is gone.

The air is different here in October. Cooler, cleaner, carrying something in it that the city does not have. Stop and look up, there are eagles. Dozens of them.

The ceremony is done. The reception has not started yet.

Right now it is just the two of you.

Nobody needs anything. Nobody is pulling you in a different direction. The adrenaline is still there but it has softened into something quieter. You look at each other and it lands for the first time. You actually did it.
