Black walnut tree update. What a pile of logs to sort through. What do you think should make with this tree?

Saying "so long" 👋 to this lovely black walnut tree 🌳 that has to be cut down due to the many dead branches that keep falling.
It wore 2 buckets in sugar season and was a good sap producer. Perhaps it's last contribution will be fuel for next year's walnut syrup.

One of the things we love about having left our city life behind 8 years ago (has it really been that long?!) is the steady stream of wildlife we enjoy from our windows. Caught on film was these 2 families of wild turkeys and their kids. Watch til the 13 second mark to see the littlest guy dart across my screen. There were 2 young birds but he was the smallest and when filming from our kitchen (not this video) he was darting about then also. Good fun on the farm.
We're so blessed to have this little slice of heaven 💕 and are thankful for the little things that bring a smile 😃. Hope it's done the same for you today!
