Today its 'the Bob channel'. He loves a challenge and indeed cut a piece to fit in the small space between the floor board and the hearth. Someone once asked if he's for rent...🤣. Not until this addition is done. Ciao for now.

We spotted this guy (ok- Bob spotted this bug) and not sure what it is! Very long "tail" or stinger? If you kniw, please drop your comments below so we can learn about it.

Builder Bob's at it again! This time it's our hardwood floor finally being installed! Ear protection is a must and a kneeling pad! (Be sure to remove pets to save their ears too)

Such a beautiful day we're blessed with today! The fur kids are waiting for their people to return. Riley looked at the empty couch just as I stopped videoing!

Never a dull moment around here. If someone had told us back in 2018 how much we would do with this (then 'quiet') property we likely wouldn't have believed or listened to such 'nonsense'. Fast forward 🙄 8 1/2 years later, we're still improving, building etc. Stay tuned for what we're up to...ciao for now.

Riley meets Sassy Pants...his little tale says it all. He wants to be friends and she (quite surpisingly) doesn't mind him.
We had a cat for 22 years and weren't sure when we'd be ready for a new cat. Sas decided that for us. She isn't sure of being picked up yet but wants us to pet her and hang out. Patience, we hope, will gain her trust that she has found her

We promise we won't change our bnb channel into a 'cat channel' but this is an exciting chapter we're in right now...

Sassy Pants update...this little wild girl has been fed in a dog crate for several weeks...we're drugging her so we can bring her inside to our basement where she'll live temporarily. Next stop the vet for her checkup, shots, deworming, etc...fingers crossed.

Harvest day! To say 'I'm excited' is an understatement!!! These lovely Riesling grapes will be whole cluster pressed and turned into an exquisite Sur Lie aged w**e. Not sure what that is? Leave your questions and I'll fill you in. Ciao for now!
